Susan B Wilklow Certified Public Account, CPA, Managing Owner

Susan Wilklow is the president of Wilklow and Associates CPA PC.  She received her B.S. in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania before moving to Colorado.  In 1989, she became a certified public accountant in Colorado and maintains an active license - CPA License: 11854.  In 1996, Susan graduated from Denver University with her Master’s in Business Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Susan’s experience has come from working with Fortune 500 companies as well as privately held companies.  In addition to her audit experience with the government, she worked with Lincoln National, GTE and Ford.  In 2003, Susan launched her private practice.  She has worked with several real estate companies to include companies with rental activity, real estate brokers, construction companies and fix and flip companies.

From a personal perspective, Susan has a wonderful and supportive husband, Stephen, and two daughters, Delaney and Morgan.  Susan loves tennis, golf, skiing and their pets.  She is actively involved in volunteering with her church and is on the board of National Charity League – Colorado Springs chapter and Youth For Christ.  She loves volunteering for Venetucci Farms, Operation Homefront and Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD) as well as several other local organizations.  


Nancy L. Palmer, Certified Public Accountant

Nancy L. Palmer joined the Trinidad, Colorado team of Wilklow & Associates in February, 2014.

Nancy has experience in individual, business and estate taxes and tax planning including expert witness in divorce and loss of income cases. She is also proficient in accounting and bookkeeping as well as a consultant to advise you efficiently in your business operations. Nancy is a graduate from the University of Maryland, European Division, Magna Cum Laude in Business and Accounting. She started her career in public accounting in 1981 at a CPA firm in Texas. She earned her CPA, and continued working in public accounting until 2004 - CPA License: 25327, when she turned her attention and skills to run multiple family businesses. In 2006, Nancy began her transition to Southern Colorado and received her Colorado CPA license.



Eric Virkler, Certified Public Accountant

Eric Virkler received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.  Eric’s experience includes working for the “Big Eight” at Touche Ross & Company as well as being a Revenue Agent for the Internal Revenue Service.  Eric has worked in the corporate environment in addition to public accounting.   Eric is well versed in accounting as well as tax preparation and enjoys the personal interaction with clients.   In his free time, Eric enjoys tennis and ice hockey.  CPA License: 10235






Helen Jackson, Enrolled Agent, EA

Helen Jackson has been a practicing accountant for over 12 years.  She has her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and has been an enrolled agent since 1999.  She brings a wealth of knowledge and represents clients with the IRS.  She has been a certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor since 2003.

Helen’s accounting experience includes public accounting, cost accounting and tax accounting.  She has helped a variety of new businesses with incorporation and set up, as well as offering support services such as payroll, accounting services and income tax preparation.  She has also works with not for profits on everything from day to day accounting to filing their tax returns.




Kieu L Bugg, Senior Staff Accountant

For more than 10 years, Kieu Bolia has provided financial, tax and non-profit services to businesses, individuals and non-profit organizations in a public accounting firm practice. She received her Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Augusta State University in 2004. She joined our firm in 2012, where she currently provides general ledger accounting, payroll and tax services for our clients as a Senior Staff Accountant.




Stephen Wilklow, Business & Relationship Development

Stephen Wilklow received his B.S. from Syracuse University College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 1984.  He worked in direct and indirect sales management for AT&T.  He received his Master’s in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in 1996.  Stephen has owned and operated several businesses and was co-author to the book: How to Build a Business, Not a Job.  Stephen loves building business relationships and heads up business development.  His passions are his family and working with several non-profits in giving back to the community.






Bree Waltman

Bree Waltman received her Bachelor’s degree in economics from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO in  2012.  She coordinates everyone’s schedules and sets up appointments in addition to handling our bookkeeping clients.  During her spare time, she enjoys photography.
